Position Title: Foundation Specialist
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Director
Supervises: Foundation Team (Masons, Assistants & Machine Operators)
Location: Kigali, with frequent field assignments
Renumeration: RWF 574,815 monthly gross Salary before deductions of PAYE, RSSB contributions + Health Insurance Contribution PRIME
Retention Pay: A monthly retention payment of RWF 100,000 (NET) applicable after the probation period

1. Position Purpose
The Foundation Specialist is a hands-on technical role responsible for leading the construction of high‑quality civil structures for INUMA™ mini‑grids, including foundations for public water points, elevated tanks, support structures, and manholes.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Construction & Quality Delivery
- Execute and oversee all mini-grid foundation works.
- Ensure structural integrity and quality standards.
- Use jigs and tools accurately.
B. Machinery Operation & Maintenance
- Operate mixers, vibrators, compactors, and jigs.
- Ensure good maintenance and minimal downtime.
C. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise the team and assign tasks.
- Monitor performance and discipline.
D. Materials & Resource Management
- Ensure efficient use of cement, aggregates, steel.
- Coordinate material availability and machine functionality.
E. Reporting & Problem Solving
- Provide daily/weekly progress reports.
- Resolve on-site challenges.
3. Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- TVET Certificate in Construction Technology or Masonry + 3 years experience
- A2 Certificate in Construction Technology + 3 years experience
- A1 Diploma in Construction Technology + 1 year experience
- B.Tech in Construction Technology + 1 year experience
