About The Role
Yoco is seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Operations Lead to join our Product Operations team. This role is crucial in driving design programs and enabling our design function to reach new heights. If you're passionate about optimising design processes, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the smooth operation of design initiatives, we invite you to be part of our innovative and fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing - Drive Design Programs:
- Collaborate with design leadership to define, plan, and execute strategic design programs.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of design projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Enablement for Design Function:
- Develop and implement processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tools and resources that empower the design function.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster a culture of collaboration between design and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain communication channels to ensure clear and effective information flow.
- Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact and efficiency of design operations.
- Provide regular reports on design initiatives and their outcomes.
- Team Development:
- Mentor and guide junior members of the design operations team.
- Contribute to the professional development of design team members.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design operations or a related role.
- Proven track record of driving and managing design programs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience implementing design processes and tools that enhance team efficiency.
- Familiarity with design tools and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
