People Systems & Operations Associate

About the role
The People Systems & Operations Associate is a strategic, high-impact role positioned at the intersection of people strategy, systems design, data analytics, and operational execution. The successful candidate will design and build scalable, data-driven people systems while simultaneously driving excellence in day-to-day people operations across a global, multi-country organization.
This is not a traditional HR role—it is a builder, operator, and strategist position for an individual who can develop systems, interpret data, and translate both into meaningful improvements in employee experience and organizational performance.
This need is driven by our rapid growth and expansion across geographies—we are scaling quickly and as our headcount and operational footprint continue to grow, we require someone who has experience systematising and optimising organisations in high-growth environments, and who can build the infrastructure needed to support scale without losing agility, culture, or performance.
Key responsibilities
1. Data, Analytics & Insights
Build and manage a global people data framework (e.g., hiring, retention, engagement, performance).
Develop dashboards and automated reporting for leadership decision-making.
Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Lead internal research (engagement surveys, benchmarking, workforce modelling)
Ensure learning and development programs are measured through clear impact and ROI indicators.
2. Global Operational Efficiency
Conduct end-to-end process improvement across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning, benefits, and compliance.
Identify bottlenecks and redundancies, implementing scalable solutions to streamline workflows.
Introduce automation and workflow enhancements to reduce administrative burden and improve turnaround times.
Embed continuous improvement methodologies and feedback loops into people operations.
3. Workforce Planning & Talent Systems
Support organisational growth through workforce modelling and hiring analytics.
Monitor hiring pipelines, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire metrics.
Track learning impact and performance outcomes.
Enable structured career development pathways and talent growth systems.
4. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
Partner with Country Leads, Department Heads, and senior leadership to align systems and reporting with strategic priorities.
Provide technical guidance and training to ensure effective system adoption across countries.
Serve as the primary people systems and analytics expert within the organisation.
Support change management initiatives tied to system upgrades and global standardisation efforts.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Develop and maintain data governance policies and access controls.
Ensure global compliance in record-keeping, benefits tracking, and employee documentation.
Standardise documentation practices and audit trails across all country offices.
Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive employee data.

Required experience and qualifications
5–8+ years in people operations, HR, data, systems, or consulting environments
Experience in multi-country or global organizations
Proven track record in systems implementation, data analysis and reporting, project management and process optimisation
Strong analytical capability& experience with people systems and automation tools
Extensive experience in process mapping and operational efficiency expertise
