Our Strategic Partnerships department is seeking a passionate team player to join our ambitious team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This is a new position that will be essential to the Strategic Partnership department’s evidence-based program replication work with public and private non-profit agencies across the country. Since the launch of Strategic Partnerships in 2016, the department has grown to 30 staff, supporting 26 implementing agencies across ten states and DC, and serving over 2,000 youth and families annually. Working on the Strategic Partnerships team means collaborating with purpose-driven people on high-impact projects, making a direct impact on youth, families, and communities to achieve long-lasting systemic change.
The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) will utilize strong engagement skills to act as a bridge between local program stakeholders, implementing providers and referral sources to increase program awareness and equitable access for all families in need of intensive in-home services. They will function as on-the-ground referral management support, leaning on solid organizational skills to bolster program marketing materials and plans. The CEC will leverage strong relational skills, engaging local champions, advocacy groups and families to participate in a Lived Expert Family Fellowship. This individual collaborates closely with Strategic Partnership’s Relationship Management and Program Implementation teams to execute on strategies.
They will also work on special projects as requested by leadership, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Together with leadership, identify key stakeholders for projects
• Support partner organizations in developing robust marketing plans
• Attend and co-facilitate ongoing census and referral focused meetings
• Build strong relationships with key community stakeholders including referral sources, implementing provider organizations, etc
• Rally together program champion group comprised of local stakeholders
• Actively address and mitigate any barriers to ensure adequate referral flow and no referral barriers
• Engage in existing family-based coalitions and local advocacy groups
• Actively engage in and support Lived Expert Family Fellowship
• Develop and implement outreach and engagement strategies to strengthen local community engagement
• Reside in Louisiana and anticipate frequent local travel; up to 75%
