Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree with 10+ years of advanced nonprofit development experience leading strategic fundraising initiatives and growing diversified financial revenues and resources, preferably with organizations having no naturally affiliated constituencies
- Demonstrated success in leading campaigns and securing major and annual gifts, primarily from individuals followed by foundations and corporations
- Has a history of achieving measurable fundraising goals
- Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team and developing effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and donors
- Knowledge of both local and national philanthropic communities
- Deep appreciation for and commitment to Youth Villages’ mission of helping America’s most vulnerable children and families
- Management experience with demonstrated leadership ability
