- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.PE License is required.
- 10 years of experience, with a strong technical background in track design and maintenance.
- Position requires competence preparing rail and rail-related civil designs, including development of horizontal and vertical alignments. Understanding of rail outage impacts and maintenance requirements for track and rail bridge structures.
- Experience in transportation engineering, including inspection and/or design for freight rail or passenger transit facilities.
- Experience in the following technical areas:
- Vertical and horizontal rail alignments,
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation,
- Grade crossings,
- Grading/drainage design,
- Rail facilities design
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Local experience is highly preferred.
- A willingness to engage in business development activities in order to meet growth objectives
- Strong leadership talents and demonstrated success supervising people.
