Ziweto Enterprises Limited has set up a facility to process animal nutrition products (feeds, feed supplements and premixes). The facility is in Kanengo Industrial Area, Lilongwe. We are now recruiting for a team to manage and operate the facility.
Position Summary:
- The Production Manager will manage and oversee all production and operational activities of this start-up animal nutrition products manufacturing facility.
- A suitable candidate will have extensive supervisory experience within the manufacturing / production environment especially the animal feed plant.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Animal Science, Feed Processing Technology, Agriculture Sciences, Agriculture/Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Must have experience in production and managing of animal feed plant or related manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Must have at least 5 years solid FMCG experience
- Must have experience in ensuring safety, health & hygiene in a production environment
- Must have an understanding of controlled food manufacturing production processes
- Must have experience in QC and reporting on product quality parameters
