About Position
Jan Sahas Foundation is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to serve as District Coordinator for its community development projects in Jhabua District. District Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing activities at Anganwadi Centers (AWCs), monitoring the health status of children, pregnant women, and adolescent girls, and managing project data.
What will You do in this role
● Ensure the capacity-building training of the team and stakeholders on health and nutrition.
● Liaisoning with WCD, Health department, PRIs members, Teachers, and other stakeholders.
● Develop the training calendar, module, IEC materials, etc.
● To develop the training minutes of meetings activity reports and capture quality photos and videos, case studies, testimonials, media coverage, etc.
● Regular visits to the field and identifying the knowledge gaps and plans accordingly.
● Regular monitoring and tracking of field activities.
● Ensure to maintain proper bill vouchers, financial documents, project activities reports, and regular coordination with the accountant department.
We are looking for someone who has:
● PG Diploma/Graduate/ Postgraduate In social science/public health and related experience up to 5 years (Preference Given to Graduates with prior experiences related to child and maternal health).
● Diverse knowledge in health and nutrition specific to children, mothers, and adolescents.
● Good understanding of medical terminology.
● Ability to handle field issues.
● Team Handling.
● Experience in training different stakeholders on health and nutrition.
● Technical knowledge (MS/Excel/Word/powerpoint).
● Ability to handle project data.
● Handy in evidence-based case studies, success stories, testimonials.
● Strong interpersonal, communication, training, and coordination.
● Knowledge of personal and group counseling.
● Enthusiastic about working in rural and tribal settings.
