About the Role
One Acre Fund is seeking a forward-thinking Data Analyst & Salesforce Administrator to help architect the next phase of our fundraising infrastructure. As we support thousands of donor records and institutional grants with complex global integrations, this role will be the engine of our technical evolution.
This is not a traditional administrative role. You will be a key technical partner in the CRM Group, focused on optimizing our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) environment, improving our data quality across thousands of donor records, automating manual workflows, and ensuring our data architecture provides a clear, high-definition picture of our global impact. This role has the potential to evolve over time into that of a system architect, ensuring that One Acre Fund’s donor data strategy aligns with our future growth and CRM evolution.
Responsibilities
Data Excellence & Insights (40%)
- Data Health Leadership: Proactively manage the integrity of our donor records, using advanced tools to ensure our database remains lean, accurate, and high-performing. Continuously re-visit data health - benchmark and strategize improvements in donor record completeness. Establish and improve upon data quality of donor information including subscribership, segmentation membership and historical data.
- Advanced Reporting: Design and build sophisticated reporting that provide the Business Development and related teams with real-time insights into donor data, donation trends, wealth screening and the ability to organize a reporting structure to support inbound requests for data analysis and re-use of commonly requested reports. Build out and manage a report directory where frequent data requests can be reproduced easily.
- Data Compliance and Audit Readiness: Ensure data is aligned with Finance and Compliance requirements.
- Data Mining and Prospecting for Revenue Generation: Provide insights that strengthen the Business Development team’s ability to grow current revenue streams and catalyze new ones; identifying and analyzing key data on current donor prospects, combining donor data with internal and external data sources, and highlighting the most valuable avenues to acquire new donors, retain valuable clients, and optimize value from current donors.
Salesforce Evolution & Configuration (25%)
- Workflow Automation: Lead the transition from legacy processes to modern Salesforce Flows, creating a more seamless and automated experience for our global users.
- Feature Roadmap Execution: Work through our backlog and technical debt to deploy features, automations, and enhancements that support our evolving fundraising strategies.
- Technical Architecture Mapping: Build and maintain a "Source of Truth" technical and how-to library that maps to our data architecture, ensuring the organization’s most valuable digital assets are well-understood and protected.
Platform Integration & Innovation (20%)
- Ecosystem Management: Oversee the connectivity between Salesforce and external platforms (Donorbox, Donorsearch, Campaign Monitor, Zapier, SAP), ensuring that data moves fluidly across our global tech stack.
- Emerging Tech Research: Act as a scout for new Salesforce features and AppExchange tools that can give our fundraising team a competitive edge.
- Agentic and Agentforce: Act as a lead in the evolution of One Acre Fund’s Salesforce design and development of Agentic and Agent Force predictive and generative AI capabilities.
Operational Continuity (15%)
- Team Support: Provide expert-level backup for our Donation Processing lead, ensuring that wires, checks and partner portal data are handled with precision during peak seasons.
- Current Systems / Operations: Improve upon existing systems with both operational support and ability to manage donation processing with less effort.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Technical Foundation: 5-10 years experience navigating and managing CRM environments (minimum of 5+ years Salesforce Admin experience required).
- Training / Evangelist: Proven ability to lead training sessions and develop materials for adoption of best practices by Salesforce user base. Able to respond to staff inquiries with feature demonstrations, bug resolutions, and adding materials to the knowledge base.
- Certification: Already a Salesforce Certified Administrator, or possesses the technical aptitude and drive to achieve certification within 6 months.
- Platform Knowledge: Exposure to Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack and Nonprofit Cloud (NPC), Person Accounts, Donor Search or other wealth screening tools, reporting systems like Tableau or Power BI (not required, but a plus) and back-end systems to process very large data-sets. Familiarity and interest in Agentforce application to existing workflow and data analysis.
- Systems Optimizer: You thrive on taking functional processes and turning them into "best-in-class" automated workflows.
- Project Management: You will help participate in and own a backlog of features, enhancements, bugs, and report requests and actively manage the burn-down of said list.
- Analytical Curiosity: Ability to look at complex data sets and identify the "why" behind the data, ensuring our solutions are built for long-term scalability.
- Mission Alignment / Team Player: Fit within the One Acre Fund culture is a must. Demonstrates previous interest and passion for Impact and Nonprofit causes.
- Bottom-line Focus: Proven Experience with using data analysis to Increase renewal rates, identify upsell opportunities, and increase value of donor dataset.
