Virohan is a Healthcare focused Ed-Tech company training youth for jobs in the healthcare sector. We aim to create India’s largest Industry demand-led edtech platform for healthcare professionals. We are funded by Blume Ventures, Rebright Partners (Japan), elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization (Switzerland), Artha Impact (Switzerland), Yunus Social Business (an impact fund founded by Nobel Laureate Prof. Mohammad Yunus based out of Germany), AngelList, Keiretsu Forum amongst others.
Virohan is operating at the cusp of Edtech and Healthcare. Both these industries have entered a new phase of growth because of the pandemic and will grow rapidly over the next 10 years. What you’ll be responsible for:
Defining a content strategy & execution plan, for Virohan:
- When to market to which consumer, with what messaging, across paid, owned & earned media touchpoints, in the form of a marketing calendar.
- Which media touchpoints to be active & present on - by understanding media & information consumption habits of our consumer, for education, upskilling & related decisions, or otherwise.
- Manage projects within tight timelines - work with the in-house team of video editors, visual designers & interns to deliver the content plan across all Virohan’s touchpoints
Owning all consumer-facing communication across all touchpoints in the marketing funnel:
- Top Funnel - YouTube Ads, Facebook Ads, Search Ads, Social Media, Blogs & PR
- Mid-Funnel - Owned & Earned Media - Website, App, SMS, Whatsapp, App Notifications
- Bottom-Funnel - across 15+ colleges: Campus Branding - Signages, Banners, Backdrops, Tent Cards | Take-home Collateral - Brochures, Leaflets, Dockets, Flyers
Establishing a production strategy - essentially defining:
- How much content to produce, at what frequency
- With what budget (wrt deployment)
- What resourcing - in-house vs outsourced, what talent, which agencies
- And what guardrails, in terms of tonality & quality
Support the brand team in building a consumer intelligence powerhouse - so far, marketing at Virohan has been synonymous with performance marketing - conversion-optimised, trial & error based, and iterative. The team’s understanding of their consumer is primitive, and first-principally aligned to business. You will be expected to turn this around:
- Understand who the consumer is - define a (few) consumer personas
- Define seasonality for the brand & how it affects the nature of demand
- Establish a Brand Health Track - and how it evolves with seasonality
- Identify Triggers, Barriers & RTBs at every consumer touchpoint, across the funnel
You are the right fit for the role, if:
- You have 1-3 years of work experience in content creation, working with visual designers & video editors.
- You seek problem solving opportunities with a rational approach.
- You are a design thinker - who understands what truly moves and influences consumers - ideally, a good mix of left and right brained thinking.
- Marketing Budget is not in input to your decision-making - you are happy to work within constraints and grow with the brand.
- You are obsessed with detail & often spot opportunities by paying attention to detail.
- You have a strong ability to communicate and work across functions.
- You like to get your hands dirty.
