Role Overview
We are looking for a Japanese Language Trainer who can effectively teach and guide students to develop their Japanese language proficiency, cultural understanding, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have strong command over the language, a flair for teaching, and the ability to create an interactive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and structured Japanese language classes (beginner to advanced levels).
- Train students to clear JLPT levels or meet specific academic/industry goals.
- Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to learners’ needs.
- Incorporate Japanese culture, communication etiquette, and practical usage in sessions.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic and content team to continuously improve the curriculum.
- Maintain attendance, performance records, and session reports.
Required Qualifications
- JLPT N2 / N3 certification (N1 preferred).
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Japanese studies or related.
- 1–3 years of teaching/training experience in Japanese language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong classroom engagement and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching in a training institute, university, or edtech environment.
- Knowledge of digital teaching tools (Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.).
- Enthusiasm for interactive and experiential teaching methods.
