Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative MBA Faculty member. The candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging, application-oriented sessions for MBA students, mentoring learners, supporting curriculum development, and bringing real-world insights from the industry into the classroom.
The ideal candidate should be learner-focused, industry-aware, innovative in pedagogy, and capable of teaching across general MBA subjects. We are not only looking for a subject expert, but someone who can act as a learning facilitator and mentor — inspiring MBA students to think critically and solve real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Facilitation
- Deliver application-oriented sessions using case studies, simulations, discussions, and experiential learning methods.
- Teach MBA subjects as per academic requirements.
- Simplify complex concepts for students from diverse backgrounds and encourage active classroom participation.
- Introduce students to relevant AI tools and their applications — including areas such as operations, business analytics, customer experience, business strategy and decision-making.
- Curriculum & Academic Delivery
- Design, review, and improvement of course content, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Integrate current industry trends and management frameworks into the curriculum.
- Embed AI literacy into the curriculum by helping students understand how AI is reshaping the industry — and how to apply these tools in a professional MBA context.
- Learner Mentoring
- Mentor learners on academic performance, projects, internships, and career direction.
- Help students build professional skills — communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership.
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Design and evaluate assignments, quizzes, case studies, and project assessments.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain academic records.
- Industry & Institutional Contribution
- Bring real-world industry insights into the classroom.
- Support guest lectures, workshops, industry interactions, and student development initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Required
- General Master of Business Administration from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching, training, operations, consulting, corporate learning, or a related domain.
- Good IT skills.
- Good communication and language skills.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Prior experience teaching MBA, PGDM, BBA students.
- PhD, NET, or equivalent academic credentials, if applicable.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, workshops, or faculty development programs.
- Exposure to digital learning and AI tools, LMS platforms, blended learning, or outcome-based education.
- Research publications, case-writing experience, consulting assignments, or industry projects.
